Kahepaikne #9 10.10.2017

In today’s show we’ll dive deep into Indian culture and discover that there’s so much more to it than Bollywood and curry. In a similar vein to the last time when we were talking about werewolves, we’ll continue this time on the topic of weretigers and other phenomena of dark culture. Our guest Margaret Lyngdoh shares her journey all the way from the city of Shillong in North-Eastern India to the cold and snowy Tartu where she has spent the last seven years researching the dark folklore of her local Khasi tribe. She speaks about the role of stereotypes among the Khasis as well as Estonians and the fascination that the Indian people have for western culture.
